Archives in cowtown.

Jay Lankford discovered Béla Fleck & The Flecktones through their collaborations with Dave Matthews Band and was immediately captivated by their unique sound and instruments. This musical awakening occurred during Jay’s freshman year of college, around the same time he was pursuing an interest in software and web design. Since his university offered no web development courses, he decided to create a fan site for the Flecktones — modeled after the DMBAlmanac — as a self-teaching project. The site, Archives in Cowtown, launched in March 2004 and has been a solo endeavor ever since. While interactive features like show trading and games have mostly been disabled, the Jay continues to collect and document data on the Flecktones and their many side projects, which originally inspired the site’s creation due to the scarcity of such information.

Welcome to Archives in Cowtown!  Enjoy.
