Hi, Everyone.

Hey! I found out tickets are on sale now for the Flecktones' Baltimore show on July 7th. Yee-haw.
Also, I noticed July 10th date listed for Wolf Trap. Tickets not yet on sale.

All those in the area, get fired up! All those not here, perhaps a visit in and around the nation's capital is in store!

I just got a notification that they are going to be at the Strathmore in Bethesda, MD on 11/7. November is awfully far away, but if it's true that's two shows for the DC area this year!

Pier Six Pavilion, Baltimore MD 7/7/2011

That's another great venue . . . it'll be tough to decide between that one and Wolf Trap.

Bethesda too? Wow!
I cannot handle it. Looks like I know what I am doing all year long.

Looks like parts of the tour in July are being billed as Acoustic Planet Tour 2011.

7/7 @ Pier 6 & 7/10 @ Wolf Trap are the Flecktones with the Caroline Chocolate Drops & Abigail Washburn.

While 7/22 @ Crossroads, (new date) 7/27 in UT and 8/6 in Kettering OH are the Flecktones with Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers.

Exciting stuff. Should make for some great on stage collaborations!

If I had to choose between Wolf trap and Pier Six, I'd go Wolf Trap all the way. The acoustics are much better, and I'd prefer not having to deal with the Inner Harbor on a Thursday night. But I'm old and grumpy. That scene might actually appeal to some folks! At least the O's aren't in town that night.

As for Strathmore? You HAVE to make that show. What an amazing concert hall.

BTW, any idea what the blurb on the Wolf Trap site means when they say "this GRAMMY-winning ensemble reunites all the original members, including Howard Levy, on their last tour ever with fellow folk and bluegrass artists?" Anytime I see "last tour ever" and Flecktones in the same sentence, I get super nervous.
